Configuring Google Chrome Email Setting
Configure browser so that emails with JSON and Share links can be sent from within OpenTHC
- Open a Google Chrome browser.
- Select the ellipsis button in the browser (three dots).
- Select Settings.
- Select Privacy & Security.
- Select Site Settings.
- Under Permissions select Additional Permissions.
- Select Protocol Handlers.
- Select Sites can ask to handle protocols.
- Remove any listed email addresses.
- Log into Gmail or refresh an open Gmail tab.
- Select the Protocol Handlers icon.
- Select Allow.
- Select Done.
Configuring Mozilla Firefox Email Setting
- Open Mozilla Firefox.
- Select the menu button in the browser (three bars).
- Select Preferences / Options / Settings.
- Select General.
- Scroll down to Applications.
- Find and select mailto.
- Select the Action dropdown next to mailto.
- Choose the preferred email client.
- Exit the Preferences page.
- All selections are saved automatically.
